Speaker Series Webinar
Gender Norms with Riki Wilchins

October 11, 2017 at 12 pm ET

Join us on the International Day of the Girl Child for the launch of a unique new white paper on feminine norms and women’s rights developed by TrueChild with Global Fund for Women, The MATCH International Women’s Fund, and Prospera. Gender norms work in the global south is usually focused on men and masculinity—yet in areas like child marriage, trafficking, education deprivation, and genital cutting, femininity beliefs held by mothers, aunts, and grandmothers are just as (if not more) important. TrueChild’s Riki Wilchins has conducted trainings for institutions like the White House, CDC, Office on Women’s Health, and Office on Adolescent Health as well as funder networks like the Assn. of Black Foundation Executives (ABFE), Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP), Jewish Women’s Fund Network, and Women’s Funding Network (WFN).
